MAIYET Fall-Winter 2014 Beauty report

Is all about the alluring and defined eyes – that was the focus for make-up artist Tom Pecheux, who, throughout the fall-winter 2014 runway season, played with strong eyes and bare looking skin. At Miayet’s Fall ’14 collection, Pecheux reinforced the look with a glossy eyelid in a particular color that he achieved through the mixture of M.A.C’s Fluid Line in green alongside a deep-burnt red pigment – the two resulted into a neutral grey-ish/green tone. Then, he followed with a layer of clear gloss that offered a high-shine, varnished visual effect. He also outlined the bottom eyelid with a straight – gaped in the middle – line, which made the eyes look angular and enigmatic. He had prepped the models skin with a Rodin Olio Lusso Oil beforehand, and then mixed the foundation with Estée Lauder Nighttime Skin Repair, which enlightens the skin with a reflective glow. A hint of M.A.C’s “Myself” Lipstick, sealed the deal. To balance the theme of the clothes, hairstylist Orlando Pita divided the hair by the middle, softened it straight down, and teased it all throughout to obtain an effortless-grunge look. An sporadic boost of Schwarzkopf Osis + Refresh Dust applied through the roots of the hair, helped to optimize softness and the perfect amount of volume.
